DescriptionIn this "I remember" memoir, Tonu Vanderer recalls his youth at Seabrook, where he participated in scouting, farm work, factory work, and construction work on the Farms. He later became an architect, and has worked on such projects as restoring the Estonian House in New York City, which houses the Estonian School and the Estonian World Festival. He is also the director of the Estonian School Center USA. The Seabrook Educational and Cultural Center has been soliciting current and past residents of Seabrook Farms for an "I remember" project. Residents are asked to create narratives regarding their experiences at Seabrook Farms. These memories help preserve the history and multi-cultural heritage of Seabrook Farms.
