DescriptionThe first Young People's Temple was dedicated in 1879 and subsequently enlarged to hold 600 people. A new building, with a seating capacity of 1,500, was built in 1887 and dedicated on the 18th anniversary of the founding of Ocean Grove. It stood for 90 years before being destroyed by fire in 1977. In its place stands the current Young People's Temple, dedicated in 2003 and modeled after the 1887 structure. It sits on the campgrounds across from the Bishop Janes Tabernacle, Beersheba Well and the Great Auditorium.
