DescriptionThe Passaic River runs approximately 90 miles from its source near Mendham (Morris County) to its delta in Harrison where it joins with the Hackensack River and empties into Newark Bay. As shown in the photograph, it serves as a natural divider between Newark (in the distance towards the left) and Harrison (on the right). This photograph was taken from the river's bank off Raymond Boulevard in Newark.
