DescriptionPaterson Vehicle Company, 217-214 Paterson Street, circa 1916. Two passenger buses for the Leber's Bus Line are parked in front. They had their bodies built and designed by the Vehicle Company. A new truck usually consisted of a motor with hood, steering wheel and chassis. Truck body builders completed trucks for their purpose. The Paterson Vehicle Company was founded in 1896 by Everett Cooper as the Paterson Wagon Company. Photographer Charles Heinrichs.
