DescriptionPress Release of the Passing of Ruth G. Sherman Long Time Supporter of the Roseland Library as it appeared in the Roseland Library News 1987. Mrs. Sherman was appointed to the Roseland Library Board of Trustees by Mayor Richard Leonard in 1980. She lived to see the new Library built in 1987. She had a deep belief that the Library had a vital function in human life. Her husband, Jerome Sherman was President of the Friends of the Roseland Library in the 1980's and she was also a member of the Friends Group for many years. Page two of the press release on the dedication of the CD collection in her honor.
