Originally a weekly newspaper, The Sunday Chronicle suspended publication in 1942 because of a manpower and paper shortage, and then began publication again in 1951 as a weekly magazine until 1965. This publication was also known as the Paterson Chronicle (1952) and the Paterson Sunday Chronicle (1951-1952). It was North Jersey’s only weekly magazine in its time, and the first New Jersey publication to carry weekly television listings.
