DescriptionBuilt in 1805 as a church; sold in 1922 and opened as the public library in 1923; became the Borough Clerk's office in 1979; was restored and opened as the South River Museum in 1999. Placed on the New Jersey Register of Historic Places on November 19, 1991, and on the National Register of Historic Places on January 7, 1992.
