DescriptionPea production at Seabrook Farms, early 1950s. Agricultural and processing operations were closely watched at Deerfield Packing Corp. (now Seabrook Farms Co.) where at the time, 65 million pounds of frozen vegetables and fruits were quick-frozen annually. The pea field that is shown being harvested is adjacent to the packing plant with the water tower and the steam plant smoke stack in the background.
