DescriptionAt the wedding reception of George Argyris and Mary (Kambissis) Argyris on November 12, 1919 at The Washington Hall, Newark, NJ. Everyone in the Greek community of Newark was invited. More men than women attended because originally men had emigrated from Greece to the United States. After WWI, women were sent for or brought to America as brides.
