DescriptionThis interview was conducted as part of the New Jersey Historical Commission Grant-funded Multi-Ethnic Oral History Project. The interviewee is Mr. Bui Chuong, a Vietnamese American, who came to the United States as a refugee in 1975. Before he left Saigon, he was a third year law student. He left his homeland with his family, the night before Saigon was taken over by the communists. The interview details his trip to the United States and also the adjustment to American culture and society.
