DescriptionVerso of 1952 postcard of the Kate Macy Ladd Convalescent Home, located at the main residence of the Natirar estate, Peapack. Postmarked November 1952. Addressed to Mrs. J. T. Stratton, 541 Jersey Ave., Elizabeth NJ. "I hope you are feeling fine today. We were out to Mrs. [Ike's?] last night. You should see her place now. There will be big doings out ther soon. I will write you all about it soon. Take care of yourself, Love, Kate & Elmer."

Established by Mrs. Ladd in 1908 and housed in the Maple Cottage on the Natirar estate. The home, which was created as a health facility for single women, was located at the main residence from 1949 until closing in 1983.
