DescriptionBlack and white photo postcard of McCormick's R. R. Hotel circa 1860. The hotel was located on George and Somerset Streets near the Railroad Station.
It was called the Stelle's Hotel (named after Bennie Stelle) and then McCormick's Railroad Hotel (owner Bartholomew McCormick) after later days. It was called Roger Smith Hotel after several owner changes. The building was a three-story hotel topped with a captain's deck. It was demolished about 1900 to make way for the freight spur of the Pennsylvania Railroad.
