DescriptionThis is an unused postcard showing (from left to right) an unknown building, then the 'new' firehouse. Next is the Broadway building where the lower level housed the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (known as the A&P store) which later became a laundromat. The Broadway Building also housed offices and apartments on the upper level and the US Post Office until a new one was built in 1958. The automobile in the picture and the attire of the man facing north indicate that the picture was taken in the range of 1910-1930.
