DescriptionThe men of Egg Harbor City celebrated the Centennial by agreeing to grow beards, sideburns, and mustaches like those of their forefathers. After the Centennial, however, men quickly resumed their regular grooming habits.

This picture shows former Brother of the Brush member Barton (Bart) Breder. A previous image, taken moments before Breder's visit to the barber shop, shows two recently-shaven Brushers bearing hedge clippers.

This image was most likely taken following the judging of the Brothers of the Brush contest on July 16, 1955.
