DescriptionThe Diana Radar first bounced signals off the moon on Jan. 10, 1946. Project Diana was started at the ESL in Fort Monmouth, NJ. Using a modified SCR-271 radar with a special antenna, attempts were made receive a signal bounced off of the Moon.
