DescriptionCaption from Moss and Schnitzspahn (1997): "The Casino, formerly known as Johnson's Club House and located next to Phil Daly's old Pennsylvania Club, was a restaurant noted for its fine cuisine. In 1902 it was managed by Rudolph Busse (of New York's Holland House) and by E. Witte (of Sherry's). With enlarged dining facilities and later known as the West End Shore Club, the restaurant's excellent reputation still attracted a loyal following in 1910.", (p. 89).
