DescriptionThis photographic postcard shows some of the businesses mid-way down the 100 block of Philadelphia Avenue, in Egg Harbor City, NJ. The building on the left was Boysen's drug store. The Commercial bank building in the center was later moved toward the terrace and an addition was added to the front of the building. It later bacame City Hall, an antique shop and a health/fitness center. It is now the future home of the city library.
The building on the right was Fritz bakery. This later became Wimberg's hardware, Woerner's hardware and the Egg Harbor Florist Shop.
There is an unknown individual standing in the doorway of the bank. There is another individual in the building to the right. Also there are two bicycles out front.
This dot matrix half-tone postcard has a Cologne,NJ, postal stamp of 30 Oct. 1911.
