DescriptionThis is a photographic post card taken from the SW corner of Cincinnati Avenue at Agassiz Street (White Horse Pike or US Route 30) looking east along the 100 block. The building nearest the camera was the home of "The Egg Harbor Pilot" newspaper. Several of the houses along this street remain standing as this photograph approaches its 100th anniversary.
There is a horse-drawn buggy coming up the street, a child on a bicycle, a few people standing on the curb and a noticeable old-fashioned street light hanging over the street.
On the post card is inscribed "Publ. by H. Kirscht, Photographer, Egg Harbor City, N.J., CNICINNATI AVENUE, EGG HARBOR CITY, N.J"
