DescriptionThis post card image of Dr. Smith's Neutral Water Health Sanitarium in Egg Harbor City, NJ, is believed to have been part of a souvenir set from the city's 1905 Golden Jubilee. Close inspection reveals Dr. Smith's house in the background to the right of the waterwheel house. Glazing appears to be missing from the window frames of the round "drying house." After swimming in the Serpentine Creek (visible in the foreground of the photo) persons would go to the drying house so as not to drip water in the hotel.
