DescriptionThis is a postcard of the New York Hotel, Egg Harbor City, NJ, with a 'LIVERY' sign prominent to the right of the photograph. Colored photograph with people standing in front of the hotel. Original postcard tinted with bluish green on the top half and orangish brown on the bottom. Four story building with gabled roof and shuttered windows. Corner property was opposite the railroad station on Atlantic Avenue in Egg Harbor City, NJ. Signage indicates Mrs. Kate Kumpf was the proprietor and on the reverse of the postcard is printed "Pub. by V.P. Hoffman, Egg Harbor City, New Jersey. K 363" EHC postal stamp 19 September 1912.
