Harry Messinger is kneeling at the right of the drum. The clarinet player to the right of Messinger is _ Barbetto. To the left of the drum, store owner _ Weiler poses with a trumpet.
Many of the band members are dressed in costume, such at the woman in the front row, far left. Notably, a man in the back row appears to be in blackface.
