The building shown in this postcard was the original building of the second St. Peter's General Hospital in New Brunswick, which first opened its door on November 8, 1907. This frame structure, which served as the hospital until 1929, was the home of Postmaster Russell at the corner of Somerset and Hardenburgh Streets.
