DescriptionIn August 1937, the Edison Business Phonograph, later known as the Ediphone Voice Writing or "Ediphone" for short, celebrated its Diamond Jubilee on the occasion of its 60th Anniversary. The Ediphone's importance was encompassed in the idea that executives could increase their daily productivity by 20% to 50% with the use of the Ediphone, which allowed them to record their speech for later playback. The August 1945 edition of Ediphone Voice Writing is a celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Ediphone. Contributors provide their historical perspective on the previous editions of the Ediphone, as well as its path to prominence within society.
