DescriptionSeabrook Farms smoke stack. This building housed the modern steam plant. The steam was used for blanching of vegetables and for sanitation and clean-up purposes. Picture taken on July 31, 1951
Tom Martin was the chief Engineer from the start before 1952. The boiler rooms staff consisted of 2 men per 8 hour shift. Boiler Room employees were Clarence Trull, Jim Ford, Arthur Griffith and John Hoffman. (Information provided by Bob Ford, 11/12/1995)
