DescriptionThe Second Reformed Dutch Church, located on the corner of Ferry and McWhorster Streets, was built in 1848. Designed by architect William Kirk the Catholic Church eventually assumed control of the building and renamed it Our Lady of Mount Carmel. In 1978 it became a cultural center. Now restored, it is the Centro Evangelistico da Igreja Assembleia de Deus.
