The top of the postcard bears the embellished label, "Egg Harbor City Souvenir." Smaller typeface at the bottom of the postcard identifies the image only as the "German Reformed Church."
Although the intended recipient of this postcard remains unknown, an inscription in the right margin conveys the writer's good will: "Hoping this finds you well. I remain, E. Slatwell."
