DescriptionElectric automatic Christmas tree bells which were manufactured by the E. J. Nicorvo Mfg. Corp, 210 North Broadway, South Amboy, NJ. Item includes one set of three bells on a single electrical wire with plug in its original box. The box describes the action of the bells, “Hear them ring—See them sway—Plug them in—To hear them play.” Patent records indicate that product’s inventor, South Amboy resident Edwin J. Nicorvo, filed for a patent (US2470047) on June 23, 1948 for a “Portable string of sound producing devices.” The patent was approved the following year on May 10, 1949.
