DescriptionThe Five Corners is an intersection of three main streets (Summit Avenue, Newark Avenue, Hoboken Avenue), a few blocks north of Journal Square. It is home to many specialized ethnic businesses and a branch of the Jersey City Public Library. This photograph is looking south on Summit Avenue. Hoboken Avenue crosses right to left and Newark Avenue begins towards the upper left. The distinctive green windows of the Hudson County Administration Building can been seen down Newark Avenue.
