DescriptionA new compressor is installed in the engine room in these images from Jan. 25, 1951. At the time, the Engine room staff consisted of 4 men per 8 hour shift. Later the room was manned by two men per 8 hour shift.
Tom Martin was the original Chief Engineer for both the Engine Room and Boiler Plant. Herb Seibert was Engine Room chief engineer from 1952 to around 1970. James Donnelly was Engine Room chief engineer from around 1970 to when the plant closed.
Employees of the Engine Room were: Herb Seibert, Robert Smith, Primo Bushnardo, Paul Ritts, Bob Ford, Don Bonch, Richard Hanny, Bruce Clark, Mr. Webster and Wilburn Jenkins. (Dates provided by Ben Ford 11-21-95).
