DescriptionA small card listing officers and general members of the post. It also tells which regiments they are from. On the back are meeting place and dates of meetings. The card is dated from 1888.
The first G.A.R. post to be formed in New Brunswick was Kearney Post No. 15, organized in September 1868. Dissention within the ranks led some members to break away in 1872 and form Col. Hugh H. Janeway Post No.6; however, the two camps later reunited in 1877 as Kearney-Janeway Post No. 15.
