DescriptionHome built by John Woolston on Rte. 39 near Ewansville. East end was erected about 1800. This fine old house has some of the pent roof intact and marks of the lines on the north side also. Arched window lines denote antiquity. Mantels and fireplaces were features of the interior which has been little altered. This house remained in the Woolston family until 1932. A marble grave marker on the farm designates the burial place of Susannah Langstaff, daughter of John Woolston, Jr. and his wife, Lettice, who was born in 1693 and died in 1739.
