DescriptionThis image is one of two photo-postcards of the Egg Harbor City Moravian Church altar, both addressed to Mary Blattner, City. Neither card was posted, nor did either bear a message.

The postcards were taken during the same time period, as demonstrated by the carpet runner, the chairs, and the recessed alcove behind the altar.

The alcove and the low stage pictured in this image are not present in the 1909 or later photos, indicating that this is most likely a view of the original altar.

The rounded-back chairs are visible in the Christmas photo, but are missing in the 1909 photo; the carpet has been replaced with a different pattern. The light fixture in this image matches the one in the 1909 postcard.

Exact dates may be located in the church's history books.
