DescriptionThis is a report on the efforts of the Meat and Cannery Workers Union combined with the efforts of the Migrant and Child Labor Committee of the Consumers' League of New Jersey, the Women's Bureau of the United States Department of Labor, and the Christian Laymen's Council to address problems concerning migrant workers and organized migration from areas of unemployment to where labor was needed in New Jersey during the early 1900s.
