DescriptionThis interview was conducted as part of the New Jersey Historical Commission Grant-funded Multi-Ethnic Oral History Project. The interviewee is Mr. Pham Co, a Vietanamese American, who came to the United States as a refugee in 975. Mr. Co lived in Saigon before it was taken over by the communists. He describes his initial financial and social setbacks in Florida and New Jersey. The interview also describes how he interacts with Americans and his views on American society.
