The interview is with Vernan Bevans who was born in British Honduras in Central America. He moved to Brooklyn in 1962 at 19 years of age, and then subsequently went to Monmouth College in Long Branch, New Jersey. The interview discusses Mr. Bevan's family, education, and occupations. He also discusses life in British Honduras and Brooklyn, British Honduran customs and rituals, and racial experiences.
