DescriptionSent on stationery from Lowry Field in Denver and portraying images of Denver on the back, this letter from Corporal Louis Kiraly thanks the Hungarian Defense Council for a carton of cigarettes they sent him. He expresses his regret that he had not known about the Council during his last visit to New Brunswick. The Council was organized in New Brunswick by leaders of local Hungarian churches and societies. During the Second World War they sent supplies, such as the carton of cigarettes Kiraly is thanking them for, to members of the military of Hungarian descent from the New Brunswick area.
