DescriptionThis is a float, probably for Memorial Day, of the Patriotic Sons of America. The actual date is unknown, however the flags on the float have 46 stars which was in use until 1912 when New Mexico and Arizona were admitted as the 47th and 48th states. The men in the front are John Fender on the left and Harry Bernhardt on the right.
There is a sign on the float that reads "The lesson of today, reading of the Bible, saluting the flag, as we all know is our nation's best defence. Camp 96 Egg Harbor." The people on the float are probably part of a church group.
