DescriptionKiyoko Kaneshiki displays the impressive vegetables she grew in her garden. Each family at Seabrook was allotted a small portion of land to grow plants. Iddy Asada recalls in her memoir, 'I remember Hoover Village,' that there was quite a lot of competition between garderners to produce the prettiest flowers and biggest vegetables. The gardens also helped families by bringing in another source of income.
