New Brunswick First Reformed Church Celebrates 200th Anniversary |

This collection opens in honor of the congregation of First Reformed Church, which dedicated their second sanctuary building September 27, 1812. The collection includes historical sermons, a manuscript record book covering 1717-1794, and contemporary photographs of tombstones in the historic cemetery and of the church during a recent restoration project.

Chinese Exclusion in New Jersey – a digital exhibit |
 | The Chinese Exclusion Act (1882-1943) barred Chinese laborers from entering the United States. This exhibit, “Chinese Exclusion in New Jersey: Immigration Law in the Past and Present,” documents the effects of exclusion on Chinese individuals and communities in New Jersey.
