Jersey Homesteads in Roosevelt, New Jersey has a rich history. The heritage of its residents and the history of the town are chronicled in a world famous mural painted by Ben Shahn during the years 1937-1938. The mural was commissioned by the New Deal's Farm Security Administration. As you view the mural see if you can uncover the story that Mr. Shahn was trying to convey.
